Trend spreads beyond bounds during Ramadan

Indeed, after more than two weeks, the few committed devotees felt quite lucky  to be mentally and physically able to regularly offer the compulsory  Isha  prayer, followed by the Taraweeh,  at the small mosque last night in the cool comfort of AC, which felt much  better than the earlier unbearable stuffy atmosphere of the past days. It was writ large upon their relieved face. It was so cosy that nobody went straight to the second story. In contrast to the natural air, they seemed to have liked the chilly air.  On the spacious second storey, a few pious devotees felt comfortable, and completed their 20 rakats of the additional prayers. They reasoned that natural fresh air is more comfortable than the available air in most air conditioning systems. Still, there are many more of us who voluntarily avoid the mosque, despite every sort of arrangement at the mosques; it actually matters.  Not only because it shows a gloomy picture towards the turnou...

Devotees honestly approach mosques

On normal days, very few Namazi used to be witnessed in the not-so-small upper-storey mosque, but now their gathering during this auspicious month of Ramadan is undeniably  worth witnessing. It has surged to a larger number without any doubt.

If you are living within the mosque precincts or simply someone who does not realise the need for reaching the mosque compulsively start reaching five times a day in this month.

This remains a major shift in our lethargic approach to attend prayers and we are now turning up at the mosque as the call for the prayer reaches us. We have now ably started respecting the utility of prayers within the comfortable capacity of the mosque that has surely been sparkling with the halo of our prayers at this holy month.

If we describe about fully packed mosque on the first floor, the second floor also does not remain distinctly vacant due to the very fast presence of devouts in vast numbers.

This presents the very practical fact that the devils are chained during the ongoing holy month of Ramadan, and the devouts are not faltering in teaching their nearest mosques. They certainly do appear a little bit more energetic in thronging to the mosque. This is the specific change we have been realising in the promising month.

Such a distinct tendency does not occur in any month other than the significant holy month of Ramadan. Those who find passivity in going to the mosques thereby bringing a total change in their routine lives.

They radically alter their behaviour right away, hurrying down the path to the mosque in prescribed manner they can. There has undoubtedly been a significant shift in Ibadat's perspective.

In addition to the first floor of the mosque being completely occupied, the second floor is also not noticeably empty because of the rapid influx of large numbers of devotees.

It is fiercely passionate and occasionally a significant departure from the worldly, less enjoyable inclinations of the current era. Somewhere, we start to bend down, hoping for the Almighty's graces. It goes to spur us to acknowledge that, in between an utterly existential crisis and a matter of spiritual sustainability, we can effectively assess what else our innate goals can anticipate for the day.
