Long power cut around Jajmau

Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. BMC Mayor selection turns tough

Political parties require a calculated number to make an impact in the selection of the Mayor, which remains a total failure presently for the election of the Mayor at BMC for any political party.

Hotel politics has therefore made a dramatic return to Mumbai once again. Days after the Shiv Sena emerged as a key kingmaker in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls, its chief has reportedly settled at a posh hotel with its fully fresh and newly elected Corporators.

Without political drama, the politics looks to be incomplete. The seat of the Mayor has now become a little  more tough course.

One political party claims its stake due to winning the maximum seats, while another party proposes a 6-month term as mayor.

However, this formula does not suit the party with the highest number of seats. The possibility of poaching before the creation of the new civic council may occur.

Serious negotiations within the ruling Mahayuti alliance  or other parties over control of Mumbai's mayoral position are now not bringing any  final decision, as reported.

Before an enough number of seats, each party wants to gain the most. The scale will tilt towards the party that holds the largest number of seats. But alliance politics also stands before the parties' leaders.

The Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena has indeed suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the BJP–Shinde Sena alliance, ending the Thackeray camp's 25-year hegemony over the wealthiest civic organisation in India.

Despite their impressive performance, neither Shinde's Sena nor the BJP have won a complete majority on their own, allowing for political scheming.

There are 227 wards in the BMC, and 114 is the magic mark for majority. With 89 seats, the BJP was the largest party, followed by Shinde's Shiv Sena with 29, bringing the Mahayuti total to a comfortable 118. Despite being a member of the Mahayuti at the state level, Ajit Pawar's NCP ran separately and won three extra seats.
