unexpected arrangement

Owing to a sudden power cut, the plump housewife was so badly disturbed that she seriously thought about how she could make a kebab for the afternoon lunch.  So long as the power supply does not restore, how would the mixie work? No power supply strictly meant the power-driven mixi would not run in any possible way.  She had no other direct way than to painfully wait for the immediate restoration of the electricity supply.  How could it be possible at the critical time? She knew very well there would not be an immediate power supply in her locality.  She started mumbling bizarre words against the authorities about the long electricity failure. After all, she could do nothing more than give this particular vague reaction. In the meantime, her neighbour, a close relative, sent a plateful of kebabs. This indeed brought joy to her desolate face as she no longer needed to curse the unexpected power failure. Her big problem of the long wait for electricity restoration no l...

Dhaka draws people to its history

The seasoned interviewer attempted to ascertain the precise meaning of the city's name during a political discussion with a party candidate tring his luck in the Dhaka assembly constituency of Bihar.

Usually, our attention is drawn to the capital city of Bangladesh. The name itself, however, has its conceivable origins; more frequently accepted hypotheses associate it with the term "Dhakka," which means "watchtower," or the "Dhak" tree, which was once common in the area.

Another popular point states that Dhaka refers to a membranophone instrument, prominently popular as dhak, which was played by order of Subahdar Islam Khan I during the inauguration of the Bengal capital in the year 1610.

We remain entangled into a never-ending cycle of persistent debate about this very particular name. Our political leaders adore nothing more than a sentimental tradition, whether it is assembly-level elections, secular flip-flops, or development aspects.

The particular candidate in Bihar's Dhaka assembly, however, is the singular contender trying to earn his distinct popularity in more or less today's different politics.

This confident candidate has been struggling to secure sufficient support, which at least hints at his grasp on relevant issues on the eve of assembly elections. As long as people continue to live in their own bodies and embrace being different, there will always be possibilities of breaking through the monotony, as is being viewed.

No particular fact about the origin of the name was supposedly displayed during the course of the talk. This did not linger long because the candidate turned the topic in a different direction. As a result, the purpose got forgotten, and the course of conversation did not put a clear answer particularly linked with the name.

The viewers' utmost interest in knowing the historicity of name remained unresolved. The word Dhaka was once widely cited as Dacca prior to the year 1982.

It is worthwhile to mention here that a Dhaka Aushdhalay used to exist in the Johnstonganj area of Allahabad. Things got ended up due to interesting way interview proceeded, but people think it is fantastic. Bihar's Dhaka constituency has become a topic of open discussion among general public.
