Intense passion for swimming

Finding a lanky boy in a dark red T-shirt wandering around as though he had just returned from his regular daily swimming practice was obviously a total surprise. This  was not the case at all. He can't explain why he decided on routine swimming, despite his considerable height. He didn't appear to realise that the chlorine in the water would turn his face dark. He and two other older boys were swimming without realising this important fact. This will continue for a minimum period of one full month, as was revealed. Every day, these three lads go to a nearby pool to practice swimming. But the younger one did not go for the usual practice  on the particular day since he had developed a slight cough, which was definitely learned following his smart disclosure in the night.  He seemed to be unaware of the fact that chlorine in the water would darken his fair face. Unaware of this significant reality, he and two others continued swimming. This  goes on regularly but sudd...

Just a dose of reality for passengers!

It appears quite strange that general class compartments in the railways trains and even the roadways buses or cars carrying passengers on similar fares do not seem to follow the Gandhian maxim of cleanliness is godliness in daily norm. Whether the second class bogies or general buses or cars do not strictly follow the rule of cleanliness, none would prefer to travel in these vital modes  for journey. The passengers feel the extreme filthiness. Spick and span spaces in buses, trains and  the cars are hard to find. Strange, said, as he was voracious in his quest for clean area for sitting purposes. If the fares remain higher, facilities and cleanliness must not be wholly rejected.

We have not completely discarded the very preference to travel by the state roadways general buses, normal trains, or even cars; however, we often lack the important aspect of cleanliness in such a transportation. The scarcity of this practical aspect lead us curse the poor upkeep of the roadways buses. It is, in every manner, disgusting for the humble bus passengers. They are often overheard criticising the state roadways for neglected approach.

Recently, got opportunity to board almost a new bus of Fatehpur Depot from Kanpur's Rama Devi crossing it remained good to find cleanliness inside. Its speed was satisfactory. Nevertheless, this crucial feature is what we usually bemoan while riding a roadways bus The buses complete a trip in as many as five long hours upto Allahabad. This main factor instantly draws our attention until we do not complete our journey before passengers in a succinct shared post.

What annoys us in the trains' second-class compartments is really nothing but its total filthiness. Bus passengers, train passengers, and even car passengers bemoan the dearth of cleanliness. However, passengers are not finding improvement in the poor conditions. It was even checked more often for the sake of passengers. However, the passengers are not benefitted with choice while in the midst of an anxiety spiral. So, surely there appears  no change in static filthy conditions. Several passengers curse the departments for this apparently clear anomaly. Nevertheless, these crucial features remain present in the roadways or railways.

We find the running staff examining tickets in trains, buses and other small vehicles, bypassing the most important point of the cleanliness. We are beyond our courage to embark on this required comfortable travel and of course cleanliness. Unavoidably, our eyes are dazed to find cleanliness in metros. Could a similar view emerge in the neglected public modes of transport being brought into use in daily travel?

It is only after that that we would no longer impatiently search for the immaculate interiors of metros operating in selected places. We resort to these swift two-bogey trains that are speedily running either the under- ground or overground rails, and the most importantly, there is no concern about the cleanliness. Further, there remains no question of the time being wasted.

Even though this mode is a crucial part of our everyday lives, we appear to recognise that it has attracted us fastly, particularly when we experience increased anxiety about our travel into the mess of dirt, spitting and other undesirable filth inside buses, trains and cars too. This is quite true in line with the more suitable cleanliness in the metros around us.
