Feast brings respite from odd routines

On an important occasion, I had the great opportunity to attend a feast arranged at a posh hotel in our famous city of Kanpur's famous Jajmau area. Various delicious items were arranged on the stylish table. The guests were really free to choose what they liked to consume. There was a considerable rush but not in any way uncontrollable when I entered the grand air conditioning space. Soon, the humble host emerged, and we liked to embrace each other as human decency permits us to do. I did not lose much time sharing a light joke. I briefed him that I saw you standing from just outside, but you were out of sight the moment I entered the hall.  He, in his usual manner, did not pause to say how a man so fat could not be viewed from quite a short distance. Thus we laughed to the full heartily. Among various dishes, there was also the regular Biryani. How would it be neglected owing to its wide acceptability? When it was available to the guests, they certainly had to savour it exp...

Why does discrepancy persist?

During Ramadan, Muslims are especially eager to perform all of the daily prescribed Ibaadat. This kind of narrative is not denied by any devout Muslim. They also try to perform an additional prayer, usually known as Taraweeh, in this ongoing month of Ramzan

It is obviously a 20-rakat extra prayer added to the Isha prayer. The devout Muslims seek the blessings of the Almighty by offering these extra prayers.

The mosques remain packed with Muslims who are fasting. This month, the mosques are also given a makeover by replacing the corroded prayer carpets and making necessary repairs. Although mosques continue to provide ceiling lights, air conditioning, and all the main amenities in the main hall, the second-floor hall lacks facilities.

For example, in one mosque, only one ceiling fan operates, whereas on the first floor, multiple ceiling lights continue to throw their light until all the prayers are completed.

Why does this discrepancy persist in the second-floor hall of the mosque? This situation is commonly noticed during prayers in this very significant month. Practicality exposes how the single ceiling has been helping the second-storey hall to remain rather cool.

Because the people praying on the second floor are denied disproportionately identical privileges, some pious people have been known to claim that this phenomenon is still undesirable. They wanted the apparent distinction to be dispelled, usually and ultimately. Naturally, they claimed with convincing proof that the difference was real and that daily experience reflects it.
