Feast brings respite from odd routines

On an important occasion, I had the great opportunity to attend a feast arranged at a posh hotel in our famous city of Kanpur's famous Jajmau area. Various delicious items were arranged on the stylish table. The guests were really free to choose what they liked to consume. There was a considerable rush but not in any way uncontrollable when I entered the grand air conditioning space. Soon, the humble host emerged, and we liked to embrace each other as human decency permits us to do. I did not lose much time sharing a light joke. I briefed him that I saw you standing from just outside, but you were out of sight the moment I entered the hall.  He, in his usual manner, did not pause to say how a man so fat could not be viewed from quite a short distance. Thus we laughed to the full heartily. Among various dishes, there was also the regular Biryani. How would it be neglected owing to its wide acceptability? When it was available to the guests, they certainly had to savour it exp...

No sweets disappoint boys

Shame on all those Muslim residents who do not realise the utmost importance of distributing sweets after culmination of Taraweeh in their compound mosque. This extra prayer is offered especially in this pious month.

They are undoubtedly moneyed but restricted themselves from collecting adequate money for the cause of sweets distribution on such a momentous occasion. It arrives only once in a whole complete year.

The completion of the Holy Quran usually takes place in this month of Ramzan in almost all small or big mosques. The Quran concluded on the 27th of this continuing month. It remained more acceptable efforts of the two proficient Hafiz who made the devouts stand behind attentively to hear the complete Quranic verses correctly.

Had they been shown the spirit to collect money, there was every chance they would have amassed that much money to distribute. But such disorientation can't be termed fine in any possible manner.

It is very clear that they take the religious cause seriously and always step up to help. However, this is the first time they haven't tried. It seems that there was no inclination for sweet arrangements. This time, the caretakers had a somewhat laid-back demeanour when distributing the sweets; they could have chosen a different concept.

How can it be denied altogether that they have earlier contributed a good number of times, but exactly at such a late time they did not appear to have shown that many endorsements. There may have been some reasons behind this if compared to no quick contribution.

What is the real reason for its all-out avoidance? The contributors always feel generous, as dismay is not often seen. Haji Raju has yet not spoken upon this genuine grievance of the children who longed for the special sweets as their presence in all these days at the mosque remained known to everyone.
