Long power cut around Jajmau

Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. The residents honestly endured the unsatisfactory situation with the support of an inverter up to 07 a.m.  Certain families moved to their relatives' places to beat the heat.  Even the political leaders kept on asking for the exact timing of the restoration of the normal electricity supply. Will future Doha Deal end battle in Gaza?

We justifiably hear a lot about the more powerful methods to end the Israel-Hamas conflict. Before leaders practically conclude the battle in Gaza, the start of the Doha deal is expected, possibly under American pressure. Other connected or clingy issues are even creating waves in meaningful ways. Is the pursuit of peaceful resolve not the goal?

Nevertheless, just one short ceasefire ensued in the first few weeks of the battle. Since then, the negotiations mediated by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar have continually stopped; nonetheless, there have been rumours of recent progress in the battle in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the decision was followed by a meeting with Netanyahu's defence minister, security officials, and negotiators on behalf of the outgoing and incoming American administrations. Uncle Sam is reportedly enormously curious about negotiations. Joe Biden and Donald Trump both pry on the deal.

Reportedly Donald Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff was back in Qatar to press ahead with negotiations to reach a Gaza ceasefire and release of hostages.

He flew back to Qatar after a brief visit to Israel where he held talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Following their talks, the heads of spy agencies Mossad and Shin Bet, and political and military advisers are being sent to Qatar to advance the talks.

The indirect negotiations between Israel and the Hamas group would supposedly approve of the next round of future talks. Pursuing joy might be a cutesy expression, but it will be considered a common one across stoppage to arms.

It is a simple impulse that resounds with a strong necessity. It needs to be reviewed to catch comfortable conditions around a table.

Netanyahu has been adamant about dismantling Hamas's military capabilities in Gaza. Hamas has demanded that Israel remove all of its troops from the mostly destroyed area.

Gaza's Health Ministry apprised that more than 46,000 Palestinians were dead. The head of Israel's Shin Bet internal security service and political and military advisors will also be there (Doha).

Since then the talks mediated by the USA, Egypt and Qatar have repeatedly been delayed, yet recent news floated that there would be a sign of progress in the negotiations on the war in Gaza.

All the recent developments reflects the sight of high-level Israeli officials about signing off on any deal. Issues in the talks include which hostages would be released in the first part of a phased ceasefire deal, which Palestinian prisoners would be released and the extent of any Israeli troop withdrawal from the population camps in Gaza.

Hamas and other groups reportedly killed some 1,200 people and took about 250 hostages into Gaza in the attack that started the war. A truce in November 2023 freed more than one hundred hostages, while others have been saved or their remains have been recovered over the past year.
