Long power cut around Jajmau

 Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. Wear your good luck: Dragon Wrist Watch


Hopefully, the readers would be okay with it if I attempted to make them aware of an interesting story in this fresh piece of writing. The other day I happened to get time to look at the person's wristwatch with a dragon design in complete golden colour. Rather, the entire wristwatch was apparently sparkling in golden colour. 

When I asked him to show the watch he started saying something. His near relative had offered him this particular new watch.  When he visited China he had brought this very gift in the form of a wristwatch.

However, it was not acceptable to many for being a python figure inside. It was not really attractive because of this figure. He did not consider uttering further words regarding the watch. It was not proper to go over to other complex points. It does not sense good, let alone ideological.

On that afternoon, he did not talk further on the topic. His choices were certainly limited. But he took off his wristwatch and kept it in the pocket of his readymade Silken Kurta with some special care. 

The question that arose to my mind was why China prepared such types of watches? It might be just to lure attention. In China, it is more often said that people like to wear dragon-designed wristwatches because the one major reason behind this fact remains that a dragon is considered a symbol of good luck, prosperity, strength, and fortune in Chinese culture.

The dragon is said to be the fifth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. The Year of the Dragon is considered one of the luckiest and most powerful years in the zodiac. 

The yellow dragon is a symbol that's deeply rooted in Chinese culture, with the earliest recorded Chinese dragon artefact dating back about 6,000 years. The dragon is also said to represent the capability to directly influence the weather.

On Sunday morning in Bidhnu, here, a moving bike was struck by a ballast-laden dumper on the national highway, in front of a gas pump.
