Pricey vegetables bring tough time

We agree that the most recent difficult time for the common people was brought on by more expensive vegetables, which made them reflect on what our beloved everyday precious life now entails. The surprising circumstance has become a difficult period to endure. Due to several circumstances, vegetable prices are currently high in several places, including Kanpur.  Various common vegetables are now less available and more expensive because of supply chain disruptions, particularly those caused by the rainy climate. Media do not fail to report that rising vegetable prices are practically putting pressure on household finances, particularly for those with lower incomes. Prices for vegetables vary based on terrain and local market conditions, even though they are often pricey. ILL BIRD FOULS ITS OWN NEST ULTIMATELY

One famous proverb "All are not happy that dance lightly" is apt for Congress about Haryana where state elections are due to be slated for October 5. Hooda-Shelja rift makes Rahul Gandhi unhappy at heart where he seems to be failing in running his party's much-publicised Mohabbat ki Dukan. He finds magnificent losses if Shelja decides to join the ruling saffron party. However, she categorically stated that she remained committed to her party, its ideology and Congress leadership.

It will also be catastrophic for his party's Dalit outreach and his constant appeal for the 'Save Constitution' campaign. He has directed the top Congress functionaries like Ashok Gehlot and Ajay Maken to convince her to join the party's campaign in Haryana where the state elections are due on October 5. How does Selja respond to Rahul Gandhi's overtures remains to be seen?

It will be worthwhile to note that she has not been campaigning in the poll-bound state since September 11 as a mark of protest against the decision of the Congress leadership to give the majority of election tickets to the camp owing loyalty to former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

This has led to have reportedly offering her resignation from the post of the general secretary to the Congress High Command.

Shelja, a prominent Dalit face of the party, has since refused to campaign for the Congress candidates.

Her move has reportedly put the Congress on a backfoot in the state. Her boycott could electorally hurt the party's prospects and also embitter the Dalit population in the state.

Shelja's protest has given fresh ammunition to the BJP to attack the Congress over the alleged infighting in its state unit.

As many as 72 candidates out of 89 declared by the Congress were given on the recommendations of Hooda. Final results for the 90- member Haryana assembly will be declared on October 8.

The support of Dalits along with Jats is crucial for the Congress to regain power from the BJP in the state after ten years. While Jats account for 27% of Haryana's estimated 31 million population, Dalits constitute around 21%.

The saffron party gets a chance to rub salt into the Congress party's wounds, Manohar Lal Khattar has reportedly invited her to join the BJP.
