Long power cut around Jajmau

 Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. Was Thai politician's slap caused in jest?


Thai politician's slap comes under global controversy under the light and sparkle of camera flashes. Instead of answering the question of a female veteran journalist, the politician allegedly slapped her. His reaction was direct and approachable but unaffordable in no mixed words. It completely strays from the emotions of manners with extremely enough anger. 

He was supposed to be strolling along a corridor as the question seemed to have provoked him and he went to the extent of slapping the reporter angrily in Bangkok. 

The reporter was certainly not slipped but slapped with a bit of painful squeals. The reporter has reportedly been working for the Thai Public Broadcasting Service.

She was said to have asked Thai politicians about the prime ministerial vote. She puts a particular query in Thai, "Have you watched the prime ministerial vote?" This question did not stray him from comparatively the normal course of decent conduct and behaviour, which are everything for each woman's soft power? 

In the meantime, this abrupt incident aimed to prompt requests against his actions under the subject of a parliamentary ethics probe.

His activities have been denounced by the Thai Public Broadcasting Service also, which claims there was an intimidation tactic that compromised the safety of journalists. 

Journalist associations condemned the politician’s act as intimidation and an assault on press freedom. “The recent attack on a journalist is unacceptable and cannot be ignored,” Ittipan Buathong, president of the Thai Broadcast Journalists Association, said.

If the journalist's questions were delivered with courteous language and demeanour, addressing topics relevant to the interview. there was no need for a physical attack. It remains unacceptable in all possible ways.

The politician team defended him, saying that he had slapped the reporter in jest because of their long-standing connection, according to a statement from the Thai Broadcast Journalists Association. The New York Times reported this.
