Act of Qurbani

Bakrid is just around the corner. The goats' bleating echoes all around. Every moneyed Muslim perform the act of Qurbani by the Ibrahimi Sunnat. 

A religious scholar pointedly said that there is no alternative to sacrifice in Islam. It is a religious duty that is strongly mandatory for every saheb-i-nisab Muslim.

So, healthy goats are required to perform this religious deed perfectly. There must be completely healthy animals. 

The escalated prices of the goats appear to the customers as if the rates are really soaring like daily temperatures. 

This festival involves the traditional sacrifice of an animal. Two-thirds of the meat, in every case, should be distributed among family, friends, neighbours, and the very needy, reflecting the spirit of sharing and charity that defines the festival.

There is a whole detailed thing about how you should carry on this sacrificial duty until you are inclined to do it. 

That's why Muslims are not evading from doing this yearly act. When they rose to feel its importance, this was accepted as the acceptance of all the religious values.

If they begin performing it, it remains the inherent spirit that prevails around them in doing it by the defined rules. 

It is only after that they feel like they have rightly stuck to the norms as aptly defined. 

It is a method of submission to the Almighty. The devouts do not wonder at doing this humble act of goat, sheep or buffalo sacrifice that definitely touches their mind and souls together.
