SP licks wounds of shame



SP leader Akhilesh Yadav's party had licked its wounds of shame lately. The lack of a large crowd has disheartened the party leaders even more. 

A political meeting definitely requires a large crowd of supporters, but if this was lacking and the crowd was not seen at the time, the party leaders would really get demoralised. 

Such a grim situation was witnessed at the site, which no doubt disturbed the party there. How could this practicality be aptly disbelieved? In such a distinct scenario the party leaders feel bad for the party.

So, a clear decision was taken to postpone the meeting in view of the sparse turnout of common people there.

No gathering actually led to postpone the meeting in such a typically harsh situation. The Samajwadi Party's approach in Kannauj was too quick to cancel the programme. 

No doubt, the BJP got a sound opportunity to blame SP for poor audience attendance. 

BJP ministers did not lose the opportunity to criticise the Samajwadi Party for cheating the PDA classes. They stopped saying that the SP has been exposed before the common people.

Had there not been such a sparse crowd, it wouldn't have been postponed with the same hurried decision. Though it was called by the SP Kannauj unit. Not only this, but its deft office bearers were also duly removed instantly.

This PDA gathering did not turn up to a satisfactory level. However, what did take place disappointed the SP politicians and led to a very negative situation. 

What does it hint at about the present-day popularity of the Samajwadi Party? There weren't many people coming forward for this degrading situation.
