Old man paddles fast for veg mart
Rising prices test the common man's standard of living. They weep blood in anguish. They cannot really tolerate the brunt of inflation hitting almost all essential commodities.
It is indeed worth realising that a poor old man cycled up to Kanpur's quite famous Ghantaghar area from Jajmau just to buy vegetables at affordable rates.
He felt absolutely satisfied buying all the vegetables at an acceptable price.
Undeniably, inflation has hit low-earning people hard in every way. How could it be refuted at this pressing time?
Giving an example of one essential item, the very reasonable ingredient green chilli, he said he did not mind moving to the far-off Ghantaghar area to buy this particularly essential item from there.
However, he did not hesitate to mention that it was a cheaper market despite the long distance from the Jajmau area.
It was surprisingly being sold there at a comparatively cheaper rate. His face was worth seeing. There was not appearing any sign of fatigue on his full shining face. It was definitely a sign of satisfaction.
Despite his old age, he did not mind cycling up to that famous destination to buy the green chilli. It was simply owing to his weak financial standing. This openly hints at his forbearance.
Inflation has made the poor man's position even worse, without any quick debate at the present time.
He did not mind uttering that even the famous Sunday Sariya Bazar in Jajmau does not sell that certain item at the cheap rate.
Just reverse it; it is being sold at a higher rate comparatively. He did not bother to state it clearly.
