Practical meaning of Persian proverb

Proverbs are more often becoming quite easy to quote in accordance with the exact situation, off and on. Who can deny this very fact? There definitely remains no dearth of proverbs that can be properly used in accordance with the situation.

"Hum Khurma o Hum Sawab" (ہَم خُرما و ہَم ثَواب) is a Persian proverb used in Urdu and Hindi that means enjoying double benefits or getting the best of both worlds. It hints at an action or situation that brings both worldly pleasure and spiritual or material reward at the same time.

Does this proverb fit our cunning political leaders? They are supposed to do everything for their benefit without any compunction. They know they will definitely gain material rewards from their highly publicised work. They don't forget to aim for gains, at least from both sides.

Without holding back, it can be said that every project aims to provide clear benefits in various ways and is definitely well-planned to ensure that benefits are not overlooked.

In our daily talk, we have a small, sweet, meaty quadratic that people like to eat at this or that time. The meaning of the word 'Sawab' remains 'reward for good deeds' from the Almighty. However, there is a practical meaning of this phrase in life.
