Son eyes father's help for scooty upkeep

Despite his daily use of the scooty, he does not like to bear the brunt of the expenses of its normal, compulsory upkeep. He eyes on his father's money.

Such a distinctively peculiar way of thinking does not occur to him, despite his being an earning youth.

It indicates his distinct attitude towards saving money in every possible way. He wants that he should only drive the two-wheeler, and the onus of its maintenance should be borne by his immediate elder in every detailed way.

He does not accept that his saved money should be spent on the scooty for maintenance to keep it well-conditioned.

He approached his father for the repair charges. He first showed his utmost denial but later gave him half of the total repair amount.

He even assured him that he would give another amount in the coming month. Hearing the father's promise, his intense concern about the amount of money spent revived his confidence. It also made him less worried.

If he uses the two-wheeler, he should better bear the cost of servicing the scooty. However, he was not ready to spend all the money on upkeep. Was he justified in every logical manner?

Although thriftiness is a common state to follow, there is no magic formula for achieving it in every possible way.
