Cheaper petrol available in Iran

If there is cheaper petrol available, it is no doubt in Iran, as revealed by an Indian travel vlogger. His video went viral in a short span of time.  This is just because of the petrol remains available in the country. It is so cheaper just because of this main reason.  There looks no problem in buying petrol in quantity more than required in this country.  However, we do not dare to buying more quantity than the exact requirement at the time in our great country. It also revealed how much cheaper petrol is marketed in that particular country, Iran. Its incredibly low petrol prices are sparking overall online discussion. It was shown that fuel costs as little as Rs 2.50 to Rs 8 per litre in Iran. It sparks a big contrast to our country, India's unbearable higher prices of over Rs 100.  The low price that Iran sustains remains unthinkable in our great country. If it were so cheap in India, people would feel no burden at all. But it is impossible in every possible way....

Will Strait of Hormuz be renamed?

 



According to reports, US President Donald Trump wants the much-discussed Strait of Hormuz to be renamed the "Trump Strait," despite the fact that the vital waterway is still under threat due to the war with Iran at this pivotal moment. Changing the name appears to be entirely Trump's idea. 

He proposed naming it Trump Strait just because it is under U.S.A. control; should we change the name Hormuz Strait to TRUMP STRAIT??? 

Like America itself, it would be 'hotter' than ever before!" Trump said on his Truth Social network. 

It is seen as a belated geographical name change proposed by Trump. It comes a week after he ordered Lake Ontario to be renamed "Lake America" amid a trade war with Canada.

Trump also renamed the Gulf of Mexico as the "Gulf of America" on his first day back in office in January 2025. His typical actions are not without a history of changing the names of various places.

Many of the earlier name changes began with apparently thrilling remarks by the 80-year-old US president.  He then pursued them to make them an actuality.

Trump has repeatedly terrified Iran into claiming sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, even posting a map showing the waterway as a "new US territory."

But Iran has frankly shut down the very chokepoint, through which a fifth of the world's oil passes, in revenge for the war Trump began along with Israel in late February.

Oil prices are steeply rising again after US forces undertook fresh strikes near the Strait of Hormuz in reaction to what Trump said were renewed minelaying endeavours by Iran.
