Higher goat prices limit Qurbani

Today is a big day for Muslims as they are performing the ritual of sacrificing a goat, buffalo, camel or lamb. This is the main part of Eid al-Adha. Undeniably, the direct effect of inflation is evident in this annual ritual for all those who are not moneyed enough to perform this particular tradition.

This practice certainly follows the important rite of stoning the devil after completion of the last ritual of Hajj in Makkah. It is also reported that millions around the world celebrate Eid al-Adha.

As regards the comparative impact of the price hike upon the goats this season, there has been seen a marked decrease in the number of goats sacrificed on this day.

If we look at an example, it was indeed learned that as many as 25 goats were sacrificed at a place during this festival, where as as many as 55 goats were sacrificed last year. This remained an indisputable proof explicitly.

This significant figure was collected from those who sacrificed their goats. It really opens up some quite different facts. It neither appals nor breaks our hearts. Without a doubt, it clarifies the impact of the incremental price hike.

If this is a clear example of rather checked increase in healthy goat prices, it seems to have been  basically thriving in the various temporary  goat markets, we are not able to fathom why is such situation happening in actual practice in such a different situation.
