Annual Eid celebrations

Clearly, the main activity of the annual Eid celebration remains attending a relative's residence. On this particular occasion, relatives make sure to see each other at home.  They are amused by a wide variety of dishes. The sweet flavour of the most significant meal, sewai , seems to be blending with joy and celebration. Even so, traditional recipes are significantly altered for the celebration.  During a visit to a relative's home, it became more apparent that not only did the dishes on the table resemble those of a five-star hotel, but also...  The golden-coloured cutlery placed on the table created the illusion of an upscale hotel. Each item placed on the table served as a reminder of the refined and opulent way of life.

Wide road bings scene to view




Numerous mosques in the Jajmau area of Kanpur Nagar were crowded with devotees in new clothes. They were on their way to offer special Eid prayers at various mosques and the well-known Eidgah. 

They stepped up to the precinct of all these mosques set up around various locations from their houses. How could they forget to offer prayer on this festive occasion? 

Their faces were sparkling with joy and hearts pounding with intense joy while they were moving with utmost confidence to ably reach there, raising Quranic verses, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allah Akbar, la illah illallah...,.......

They were not in any trouble, so they did not feel uncomfortable while going to the mosque of their choice. It remained a scene to view in pied beauty.

By completing the full thirty days of fasting, they found a more fortunate opportunity to offer Eid prayer. They headed to the nearest mosque to their residential locality. They were taking either the help of a bike, a scooter, or other vehicles. 

They did not forget to complete the distance with even feet also. The wide road presented the unique spectacle of the Muslims heading towards the Eidgah.
