US & Iran to talk in Geneva

Why is there prevailing tension in the world? It is important owing to the tense situation between America and Iran.

The most talked-about nuclear deal has a massive role to play in this pertinent issue; Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reportedly told the very controversial Conference on Disarmament that "a new window of opportunity has opened."

With the world seemingly hell-bent on the failure to reach a consensus upon peace, now indulging in the vanities of self-adornment is of little importance to either the US or Iran. Is it so wrong, then, that in duly promoting the war around the tense globe, American political stance has not so far felt just the beneficial opposite?

Where is it? Both the strong countries are trying their own axe to grind. What the US tried to dictate appears starkly opposite to Iran, and their straight grins begin to continue.

The United States and Iran will hold their next round of vital nuclear talks in the days to come, supposedly on Thursday in Geneva, a facilitator said recently, as the Islamic Republic faces both the threat of a U.S. military strike and protests at home.

However, American President Donald Trump remained obstinate about his strict terms on "zero uranium enrichment".

A war of words on social media continues, as the US president and the Iranian supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, went all out on social media.

This came after Trump ordered the USS Gerald R. Ford, the world's largest aircraft carrier, to be moved to the Middle East, where the USS Abraham Lincoln is already stationed.

The influence of military power on the rest of the countries helps the US lean on all its favourable points. These certainly are suitable for America, or at least catching a glimpse of ease in its favour.
