Long power cut around Jajmau

 Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. Heavy snowfall pains Mamdani


 


Recent snowfall in New York has brought a little more intense criticism of Mayor Zohran Mamdani. It was also reported that New York’s new socialist mayor was responsible for the snow not melting, which was choking some of the city’s streets. 

With this unbearable, persistent spectacle, New Yorkers were facing slushy streets that were even ruining travel for everyone.

Unquestionably, more than a week after a powerful Winter Storm Fern dumped more than a foot of snow on the city, leaving behind iceberg-sized snow drifts that blocked sidewalks, bike lanes, parking spaces, and roads, New Yorkers are struggling to stay warm. It seems to be a Mamdani efficiency test.

In addition to reaching the freezing level, the  temperature has barely risen over it, which is a temperature that science naturally determines is essential for melting snow and ice.

However, some US political critics blame Zohran Mamdani for the fierce snow all around. Several people were blaming Mayor Mamdani for the fact that snow was on the ground.

 The open criticism was further stepped up by Kelly Jane Torrance, editor-at-large of the New York Post, on Sky News Australia. Torrance remarked, "It's just amazing how badly he has proven his mismanagement in tackling the very first snowstorm." There's still a lot of snow there, she added. We have had record-low temperatures.

She added that a lot of snow is still lying there. We have had record cold temperatures.

The mayor of New York has little control over the city's temperature. The Mayor made it clear that the issue was not just the snowstorm, but the cold front.

“Typically, after snow falls in New York City, we’ll have the temperatures rise, and we’ll have the sun assist with melting the snow. Instead, what we’ve seen is the snow becoming harder, it turning into ice,” the mayor clarified. 

According to the reports, 2,500 sanitation workers were working 12-hour shifts to pick up trash and remove snow. It will go on until all of the streets in this city are cleaned and cleared because that is what the people of New York deserve.
