Ramazan sparks urge for prayers

Ramazan's arrival has sparked a rush into mosques. It is nonetheless worthwhile to acknowledge the devout's presence there. They will continue to perform good deeds during the one-month-long fast.

Believers strictly submit themselves to the most merciful Allah and care little for putting aside their whatever concerns about worldly pleasures.

As the holy month of Ramadan has begun, Muslims reach mosques in their surrounding areas. It does not matter whether one attends all five of the daily required prayers, whether big or small.

For Muslims, it is the month that energises the spirit of Ibaadat. The protracted fasting from sunrise to sunset is still unquestionably a crucial component of this ritual.

In fact, according to the Islamic calendar, it is the ninth month. The fact that Muslims have the entire month to devote themselves to Allah pleases them.

For devout believers, keeping the day hours of fasting is a form of penance in and of itself. Who can deny this very claim at all?

After Isha prayers, a starry crowd gather for an additional twenty rakats of prayer. We say it in Taraweeh. It continues till the last day of completion of the Holy Quran. Certainly, the devout felt immensely gratified by providing these extra prayers in between nights at the mosque.
