Diving doesn't fetch votes

  

The beneficial votes in the assembly elections cannot be obtained by jumping into a pond. It requires all the more confidence and extra willpower. Another day, another election outcome fails to provide him or the party with something to celebrate. 

At last, the state of Bihar has amply demonstrated this a little more precisely. 

Rahul Gandhi made a memorable effort to engage with the general public by going further into the pond filled with a variety of fish. Still, his direct communication with the electorate was greatly missed in this distinct endeavour. 

He must be lamenting now, but what can now be done at this very crucial point? The critics have even begun responding that the party requires in-depth deliberations on the tender flaws in the planning. 

In the end, what he truly wanted could not work out well for him. He has long been under the instant spell of his resolutely firm confidence, but there had emerged another political party nipping at his sturdy and hard heels now? 

However, it was undeniably his sheer overconfidence that had him sitting up and paying further thoughtful attention to rethink every strategy to fight the elections. 

He should readily fantasise about the more experimental aspects of any number of elections because he had a proclivity for the less sophisticated actions. Whether he would alter his political tactics to make his approach stand out needs to be seen in the times to come.

In a surprise turn, the grand old party Congress, which has campaigned considerably in the run-up to the Bihar Assembly election with the INDIA bloc, has won in only six seats. 

Being a national party with all the bragging of its big presence across the country, has fielded its candidates in as many as 61 assembly seats.
