Long power cut around Jajmau

Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. The residents honestly endured the unsatisfactory situation with the support of an inverter up to 07 a.m.  Certain families moved to their relatives' places to beat the heat.  Even the political leaders kept on asking for the exact timing of the restoration of the normal electricity supply. Will Lithuania escape grip of weather balloons?

Will weather balloons discovered to be transporting illegal smokes ever be able to free Lithuania? According to authorities, these recently infiltrated Lithuanian airspace and caused Vilinus Airport to close for several hours. It is important to note that Lithuania's capital is Vilinus. They claimed that up to 6,000 people on 30 aircraft were impacted by the disruption.

According to the authorities, between approximately 8:45 p.m. on Saturday and 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, up to 25 balloons were seen flying above Lithuania. Following the sightings, several people had been utterly depressed. How can we escape this blatant action? As many as 11 balloons were recovered, as Lithuania national crisis  management centre said. It was also learnt that two of the balloons, which smugglers commonly use to transport illegal goods from Belarus, flew above the airport.

European countries are reportedly on high alert, following a spate of rogue drone sightings across the continent. These are viewed as meteorological balloons. Whilst certain voices were criticising just this sort of unlawful practice, the role of our political leaders is, in fact, remains strictly to lead in times of intolerable crisis.

In the meantime, European Union leaders have blatantly blamed Russia over incidents including a mass drone incursion in Poland, something Moscow denies.

Frankly, it will drive more enmity towards the wrong people in this country. It is wholly irresponsible of politicians to listen solely to the more extreme voices in this regard, rather than the myriad leaders who feel that this kind of incident is a wake-up call.

The need for a clear political strategy to face the challenge of drone cases and an emboldened action has never been more apparent. On July 10, this year, Lithuania found a Russian-made Gerbera drone that had flown into its territory from Belarus, a key ally of Russia. Another was found in  Poland early , after crashing at a military training ground on July 28.

In response to drones being flown into its territory, Lithuania declared a 90 Km, (60 m) no fly zone parallel to the border with Belarus, saying this would allow its military to react to violations and shoot down unmanned drones.
