unexpected arrangement

Owing to a sudden power cut, the plump housewife was so badly disturbed that she seriously thought about how she could make a kebab for the afternoon lunch.  So long as the power supply does not restore, how would the mixie work? No power supply strictly meant the power-driven mixi would not run in any possible way.  She had no other direct way than to painfully wait for the immediate restoration of the electricity supply.  How could it be possible at the critical time? She knew very well there would not be an immediate power supply in her locality.  She started mumbling bizarre words against the authorities about the long electricity failure. After all, she could do nothing more than give this particular vague reaction. In the meantime, her neighbour, a close relative, sent a plateful of kebabs. This indeed brought joy to her desolate face as she no longer needed to curse the unexpected power failure. Her big problem of the long wait for electricity restoration no l...

Hanna straps son to deliver a speech

It is a realistic narrative. So, don't expect the plain truth to quickly vanish. Still, the German politician Hanna has a lot to say clearly, especially since her wide popularity has earned her a name. Hanna Steinmüller, a 32-year-old German politician, has been a straightforward advocate for better visibility of children in our daily lives. She has begun to stress this issue since becoming Germany's first member of parliament.

It couldn’t possibly be low self-esteem. She has brought this reality to life by taking a novel idea and placing it decidedly at the practical end of the real-life spectrum. She has defined the real-life requirements. What was worth witnessing was her confidence as she addressed the Lower House. She was not only seen cradling her newborn child but also brought her little son to the Lower House. Her indomitable confidence was immense at such an exemplary decision.

Belonging to the Green Party, she was not hesitant in strapping her son to her body when she delivered a speech in the Bundestag, Germany's lower house, during budget week recently.

She made no hesitation in clearing "That wasn't planned,"  as Steinmüller told  the media."I only brought my son because he was sleeping. I thought, if I pass him to a colleague now, I will wake him up."

Steinmüller praised Bundestag President Julia Klöckner for allowing lawmakers to bring their children into the chamber when they are still being breastfed.

However, one significant Tuesday marked the first time that a lawmaker addressed the plenary while holding a baby. It was important to her to establish that children are part of everyday life. "But many people are unable to do that type of grit, especially single parents."

She said the common expectation remains that childcare can be organised for the entire day. "We believe the government should talk more about the millions of people who have to juggle work and childcare every day," the Greens, who are in opposition, think so. They noted the value of having political leaders who comprehend what it means to care for a child.

Lawmaker Hanna Steinmüller is pushing for more visibility of children in everyday life, after she became the first member of parliament ever to address the lower house while holding a baby.
