Intense passion for swimming

Finding a lanky boy in a dark red T-shirt wandering around as though he had just returned from his regular daily swimming practice was obviously a total surprise. This  was not the case at all. He can't explain why he decided on routine swimming, despite his considerable height. He didn't appear to realise that the chlorine in the water would turn his face dark. He and two other older boys were swimming without realising this important fact. This will continue for a minimum period of one full month, as was revealed. Every day, these three lads go to a nearby pool to practice swimming. But the younger one did not go for the usual practice  on the particular day since he had developed a slight cough, which was definitely learned following his smart disclosure in the night.  He seemed to be unaware of the fact that chlorine in the water would darken his fair face. Unaware of this significant reality, he and two others continued swimming. This  goes on regularly but sudd...

Seine river, swimmable urban haven

Along the quite famous Seine River, three public swimming areas are reportedly now available in eastern Paris, secondly near the Eiffel Tower, and another adjacent to Notre-Dame. One of the French capital's most ambitious Olympic legacies welcomes the reopening.

The river has experienced a significant cleanup effort to turn it from a dirty, boat-choked waterway into a swimmable urban sanctuary, at an estimated cost of $1.5 billion, reportedly.

When it comes to public swimming in the Seine River water recently, Dan Angelescu, a scientist, has a clear reference point. He has been independently testing the very available water quality for years.

He warns that the current official testing methods may not accurately reflect the real-time risks. So, he does not hesitate to point out that what has been reportedly is that the water quality in the Seine River is highly variable.  haven

It is only a few days in a swimming season when the water quality is not far from acceptable for rigidly swimming, according to the rules now in place.

All we can say is that we can raise a hand and say, look, the science today does not support the current analysis of water safety used in the rivers around Paris, and we think that there is a major risk that is not being caught at all.

"All we can say is that we can raise a hand and say, look, the science today does not support the current assessment of water safety used in the rivers around Paris. Even more, we consider that there is a major risk that is not being captured at all," added the scientist.

But with over 35 species of fish now calling the Seine home - compared to just a handful in the 1970s - it’s clear the cleanup has had an exceptional impact. But whether Parisians will follow the fish into the water remains to be seen.

Public swimming in Paris’ Seine River has made a comeback over a century after it was banned, with just a few exceptions.

Starting on 5 July, three public swimming sites are open along the Seine River - one near Notre Dame, another by the Eiffel Tower, and a third in eastern Paris.

The reopening is part of one of the French capital’s most ambitious Olympic legacies. At a cost of around $1.5 billion, the river has experienced a huge cleanup operation to transform it from a polluted, boat-choked artery into a swimmable urban oasis.

The sites will be free to use, supervised by lifeguards, and will operate on a daily schedule throughout the summer. A colour-coded flag system - green for safe, red for nope - will let visitors understand whether it’s swim time or sunbathe-only time.

The typically vibrant French city of Paris has become the global epicentre of the world for a certain reason. It is roaring to life for the pioneering swimming that is arguably its most notable attraction. Indeed, the All Seine River opens after its long years of closure.

Though its latest edition stands to be flashier, its new version more unnerving in scale, and its newly opened Seine river more grand for its picturesque setting,
