Finding a hidden purpose in life

On his leisurely but pleasant journey to the adjacent mosque to conduct night prayer, an elderly man saluted another person gently from behind. Then, in a straight response to that courteous individual, another person enquired as to whether the weather was pleasant today. 

Without holding back, that soft-spoken person mentioned that there was a good supply of electricity and that the weather was still much better. It was certainly their sudden meeting. Neither of them had a hope of coming face to face at such a time, coming out of their respective flats. 

As another person noticed him a few seconds later, he started asking some simpler questions to make him comfortable.  There was no deception or prank involved in this short conversation. He, strangely, changed into something far more inconspicuous by the time he met the person on the way, giving a full look at the wide road outside. 

Both were quite well conversant with each other. Both were wearing undeniably simple, comfortable, and traditionally indigenous dresses, given the hot summer time. To make it clearer, one was wearing a kurta-pyjama while another was in a lungi-Kurta. They soon entered the lift and reached the upper floor. They had a sort of retina-burning effect as ample ceiling lights were put on for the prayer seekers. 

Their conversation went something like the usual exchange of words encompassing the weather and power supply situation in their particular area. There are no affordable alternatives for the situation. We will not be surprised if monsoon returns, and as a result, they will find an everyday electricity situation quite better.
