What started as joke ended with resignation

When Japan's farm minister Tako Eto made a speech that caused him direct loss. He had expected that many would be compelled to laugh at his expressed words, but something unexpected happened. To his great surprise, what he believed was a spontaneous joke was a fair explanation for facing an abnormally melancholy state.

Japan's farm minister sought to provoke laughter when he said that he never had to buy rice because his supporters reportedly gave him plenty of it as presents.

Instead, he caused tremendous outrage that led to his resignation. He undoubtedly experienced extreme anxiety, a stomach-turning, gasping, and skin-crawling plunge into the abyss that left him unnerved upon his eventual understanding as well as emergence.

Whether he is really beset or not is yet not to be wholly unclear. But in a series of vicious scenes that he will never forget, his vocal opponents turn against him: his blood dripping onto the boasting as they shun him; his blood crusted onto a round-shaped ball during a time that he is then told to skip.

After which he was covertly helpless and thrown away; and everyone, fleeting a spontaneous criticism that he had climbed out of the deepest fear of the words.

Eto had to say that the remarks at a local fundraiser had gone too far and expressed his profound regret. After Opposition parties threatened to file a motion of no-confidence against him, he resigned.
