Why do US media question Zelensky's dress?

Leave aside what US President Donald Trump and Vice-President Vance argued with Ukrainian President V Zelensky; the more enthusiastic American media came forward by asking Zelensky rather a tad bit more different questions straight to him about his simple-looking dress.

Instead, the American media posed a separate question straight to Zelensky while he was wearing a plain outfit: What prevented you from dressing in a suit as required by US protocol? His direct response to the media representative was unwavering.

He did not falter in his straight answer to the media person. Answering this pointedly typical question, he replied that he would properly dress when the war against Russia is over.

He even added that his dress would then be far improved from what he preferred to put on now. Was he not appearing relatively more concerned with the continuing war?
Wasn't the war his top priority?

He tried to convey the significant impression that he was more concerned with the destructive war. He seemed more worried about the state of affairs in his war-torn nation.

If there was any anxiety for him at this time, it was unquestionably war, and his devotion to ending the war during his recent visit to the Oval Office was undeniable. At this point, it's almost a marvel that Zelensky hasn't run out of red carpet looks, or at least the utter motivation to dress up for another ornate welcome.
