Feast brings respite from odd routines

On an important occasion, I had the great opportunity to attend a feast arranged at a posh hotel in our famous city of Kanpur's famous Jajmau area. Various delicious items were arranged on the stylish table. The guests were really free to choose what they liked to consume. There was a considerable rush but not in any way uncontrollable when I entered the grand air conditioning space. Soon, the humble host emerged, and we liked to embrace each other as human decency permits us to do. I did not lose much time sharing a light joke. I briefed him that I saw you standing from just outside, but you were out of sight the moment I entered the hall.  He, in his usual manner, did not pause to say how a man so fat could not be viewed from quite a short distance. Thus we laughed to the full heartily. Among various dishes, there was also the regular Biryani. How would it be neglected owing to its wide acceptability? When it was available to the guests, they certainly had to savour it exp...

Faizabad MP weeps blood in anguish

Are the political parties not vying for votes badly? The Milkipur Assembly constituency supposedly has up to 1.60 lakh female voters. Many claim that the political leaders are seen crying uncontrollably over the valuable votes. This unique method can gather women's votes. If an elderly man weeps bitterly, it suggests that the politician is in great distress due to the reported murder.

The Milkipur Assembly constituency is now getting completely fresh attention. Enormously crying politicians attracted the wrath of human rights groups and the public over the gruesome murder of the young woman. The Samajwadi Party's leader was fully noticed crying before the public. His intense crying was clearly loud through the mike.  He is supposed to have realised the pain and the distress of the grieving family.

He said with a heavy heart: How did it happen with the daughter? It is not painful because he finds the entire politics in the doldrums to express his pathetic words. That one heinous crime that has occurred recently is difficult to describe, he continued with tears in his puffy eyes. Only time will tell how many votes will be received in the name of tears.

After a brief pause, he moved to speak bitterly: It’s very disheartening amazingly. How could it be tolerated just at this critical moment? Faizabad's Samajwadi Party MP in his red cap broke down over the murder of a 22-year-old Dalit woman in the area.

He cried during a Press conference recently, saying he "failed" to save her life and that he would resign if he did not get justice for her. "Where are you Lord Ram, where are you, Mother Sita?" Prasad was heard saying in a broadly circulated viral video. Such was the politician's deep pain for the mercilessly murdered woman.

Focusing sharply on the gruesome, factual impacts of the woman's murder rather than notional arguments about democracy could be the way forward. And just as significantly, it could make the ruling party look tough. Does it not send a basic consideration at the election time to send a message to hamper the Party's chances in the constituency?
