Education is viewed as Australia's fourth-largest export after mining products. Foreign students support certain universities by funding research, scholarships, and domestic study fees. On average, they were reportedly paying almost twice as much as Australian students. For example, they reportedly assure more than 40% of the Sydney University revenue.

However, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanease's government is fronting the stress of reducing record groups of migration to reduce a cost-of-living issue and improve home affordability ahead of a federal election next year. Foreign students, who accounted for 793,335 last semester, have reportedly become prey overtly or covertly.
