Long power cut around Jajmau

Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. The residents honestly endured the unsatisfactory situation with the support of an inverter up to 07 a.m.  Certain families moved to their relatives' places to beat the heat.  Even the political leaders kept on asking for the exact timing of the restoration of the normal electricity supply. Winter Wear: The Thick of It

Though the season has not changed wholly, there persists hazy sunshine. Some senior people are seen wearing thick clothes. Even one asked them: Have you taken out the thick kurta. Instead of politely denying his doubt the reply remained that nothing was in it. Took out the clothes lying just in front of them in the wall-mounted almirah and wore them.

This may be a relatively rare reply, perhaps more akin to an old-fashioned approach to quick dressing. In these transitional days, most people purportedly desire to be visible and perfectly dressed to avoid any sort of direct criticism.

It was something equally as easy to disclose as we remain perhaps completely conscious of the change in intolerable hotter season. However, what we have been realising equally is that the arrival of the winter season is not too far away.

The ongoing month advances by and by to its completion. It is surely giving us the first little glimmer of the approaching season. It is not like a dream but reality within reach. Not a few but all did realise it. Maybe I have too.

The first and foremost thing we need to the process of seasonal transformation lingers undeniably. Of course, we all know that the winter season is not too far behind. None seems so envious of the upcoming winter season? We can not go harkening back upon the earlier spell.

We are continually waiting for the winter to feel absolutely comfortable and do not even care about frequent power cuts. What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.

Let us love winter, for it is the spring of genius. The colour of springtime is in the flowers, and the colour of winter is in the imagination.
