Nature's fury results in Kim Jong Un's ire

We can talk all day about nature's calamity in North Korea but the show-stopping actions taken by North Korean supreme leader are surprisingly tremendous. If he had not initiated strict actions against the party as well as the government officials, his wider familiarity would not have been enhanced.

He has been ruling North Korea since the year 2011. Although Vladimir Putin has recently gifted him a sturdy stock of horses, his strict actions against as many as 20 to 30 government and party officials for social security reasons have gone above the normal.

They are reportedly grilled for failing to take preventive measures against the massive floods caused by the Yalu River and landslides in the parts of the country.

According to the news, about 4,000 people died in this fiery flood and more than 15,000 people had to take secured shelter in a relatively safe ground. His severe steps against the lax officials made him in the news.

He has reportedly spared no officials charged with corruption or dereliction of duty amidst this very shockingly grim natural calamity.

He has reportedly executed a total of 30 officials for their alleged failure to mitigate the devastation caused by extreme floods & landslides as a consequence. This nature's fury was so intense that it killed over 4,000 people in the recognised country.

North Korea tended to take action against indolent officials with stringent punishment for their reportedly careless ways.

The disastrous flooding hit the Chagang province unsatisfactorily in July month. It replaced more than 15,000 people. According to North Korean news reports, the flooding caused widespread destruction in Sinuiju, the north-western city and neighbouring Uiju, with over 4,100 homes, and approximately 7,410 acres of farmland.

This detailed information placed the realities behind the calamity. Not only several roads, buildings and railway lines were affected poorly by this natural fury but also the reconstruction work stands as a big challenge for the country.

Though the country’s leader ordered the officials responsible to be punished, there requires a whole rethinking over carrying the country on a path of development.
