Long power cut around Jajmau

Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. The residents honestly endured the unsatisfactory situation with the support of an inverter up to 07 a.m.  Certain families moved to their relatives' places to beat the heat.  Even the political leaders kept on asking for the exact timing of the restoration of the normal electricity supply. Rahul Gandhi's first row or fifth row seat got enough attention

The Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi did not reveal his least botheration for a front-row seat. He like a cool-headed person continued to sit on the allotted seat during the I-Day programme in the reportedly fifth row. He has virtually proved why he should fight like the students in the class.

It is only he knows the real feeling. Sudden torrents were dropping, there should have been a mild breeze, and waves were gently striking the audience. The drops from a sudden rain were drenching their rain-soaked skin. When all of these aspects come together to make it seem as though the audience had to protect themselves with the raincoats.

However, Rahul Gandhi did not, in fact, bear to wear one, the only thing for him to shun this situational need. He did not complain of this peculiarity but preserved his complete equanimity. Ten years after LOP attended the programme but he could not avail the special treatment.

This is a fact as the news channels positioned this big topic on the front. The bold question was certainly oriented by the Congress party. Rahul's sitting behind on the special occasion backfired for the government.

What! his seat behind the fixed space as per protocol led the government to answer and reactions poured in amply. The most vital matter was why only Rahul Gandhi was obliged to respect the Olympic medal winners?

Are other Cabinet ministers sitting on the front seats not required to respect the medallists? Why was Rahul Gandhi a scapegoat? He caught the straight attention of the camera focus at the time, igniting both strong criticism and serious contemplation.

Essentially, the LoP is considered equal to a cabinet minister and despite this position, he remained a backbencher. As per protocol, the LOP, with a rank equivalent to a cabinet minister, is always assigned a seat in the front row.

Wearing a white kurta-pajama, he was seen sitting behind Paris Olympics 2024 Star Indian shooters Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh, and hockey players, including captain Harmanpreet Singh and goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, were also noticed seated ahead of Rahul Gandhi.

This does not make any difference to Rahul Gandhi and he will keep raising pertinent issues of the people as he has been doing, said a party spokesperson adding that the government does not have any respect for democracy, democratic traditions and the Leader of the Opposition.

One Congress leader in his post pointed out, "Why is MOD acting so petty!! Rahul Gandhi, the LOP Lok Sabha seated on 4th row. LOP is higher than any Cabinet minister. He is next to the Prime Minister in Lok Sabha. Rajnath Singh ji, u can’t allow MOD to politicise national functions !!."
