Pricey vegetables bring tough time

We agree that the most recent difficult time for the common people was brought on by more expensive vegetables, which made them reflect on what our beloved everyday precious life now entails. The surprising circumstance has become a difficult period to endure. Due to several circumstances, vegetable prices are currently high in several places, including Kanpur.  Various common vegetables are now less available and more expensive because of supply chain disruptions, particularly those caused by the rainy climate. Media do not fail to report that rising vegetable prices are practically putting pressure on household finances, particularly for those with lower incomes. Unkept promise

There are two similar stories in connection with the elections. One did not go back on his word whereas the other one was seen reverting from his promise.

Although the essence of both promises was similar, there was also some sort of not bowing to the assured promise.

This interesting matter is reportedly linked with Balas Panchayat in Madhya Pradesh. Ex-village head of the above-mentioned rural area, Karan Singh Panwar, had imposed a tough condition on the villagers to get tonsured.

He said: If the Congress leader Digvijay Singh was badly defeated in the recently completed Lok Sabha polls, he would shave his head.

The particular person in the news had claimed that the BJP candidate Rodmal Nagar would win and said that if it did not happen, he would even think of leaving his ancient ancestral village.
Finally, election results came following the counting of votes of the Lok Sabha elections. A very prominent face Digvijay Singh had miserably failed to save his stronghold.

This was interesting as well as perplexing for his Congress party. After his complete defeat, former Sarpanch Karan got his head shaved in front of the curious villagers.

Contrary to these news reports, the AAP leader Somnath Bharti did not keep his promise of tonsuring his partly hairy head. He has started a different story.

He pointed out that he talked of shaving his head only if the BJP  government came to power. It comes now after the consolidated efforts of the NDA government,

He did not thus appear to stick to his very promise at the last moment. He stated that he would tonsure if Modi becomes PM for a third term on his party's win in the recently held elections.
