Jajmau in June

It is definitely weeks after Kanpur's Jajmau residents felt some kind of relief from the debilitating grip of sweltering heat on Tuesday evening. This is all part of the relatable severity of weather appearing in the customary month of June.

Feeling the comforting touch of the cold breeze on their body, a few reacted with an air of respite from the severe hot air of summer.

A very unique phenomenon can be seen these hot days when the tap water is opened it is flowing boiling water.

Anything kept in the fridge becomes hard in a few minutes because of its icy air inside, however, the hardness can be easily turned soft if the particular thing is placed under the tap water.

The breeze that began blowing gave enough relief on Wednesday early morning too despite being a warm day with a minimum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius.

The usual sunshine, patchy clouds, and very hot weather still continue but slight relief does wonder for the hot weather-beaten residents from the summer days.

There are no means of giving relief from relentless heatwaves and humidity than taking the handy help of a gadget popularly known as the AC.

However, the comfortable breeze did wonders and as a result, they felt very much relief. The residents have been saying that the breeze remains a big comfort for all of us. More such days are required.

On Wednesday morning the real feel of the temperature was recorded at 46° Celsius. It shows the hot summer will prevail till the whole month of June, as residents believe.

According to the news, seven days in Kanpur recorded temperatures above 40 degrees in April. There were 17 days in May. In June, the mercury has crossed 40 in 16 out of 17 days. Such a year has never existed in the available records since 1972.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a slight drop in the persisting temperature in the approaching days but the mercury may remain above 40 degrees throughout the month.

However, there remains the possibility of a slight decrease in the speed of north-westerly winds from these days onwards, as weather experts maintain.

Heatwaves happen when abnormally hot weather lasts over two days. The duration is notable and potentially the longest in various ways.

Several factors like strong, high-pressure trap hot air over a region, preventing cool air from travelling in causing temperatures to increase on the ground and stay high.

Does a heat dome emerge in our great country? UP cities like Allahabad, Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Hapur, Ghaziabad Saharanpur Muzaffarnagar, Bagpat Meerut and surrounding areas are reportedly facing heatwave?

The process of formation of clouds begins due to the moisture coming from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Right now the monsoon coming from Bihar is moving towards Terai areas and Uttarakhand, the news said.
