Squarely conversation

The energetic boy was not refraining from asking his girlfriend, "What do you like best about me?" 

This was the straight, traditional yet instant question put up by him while enjoying a cup of cold coffee at a famous restaurant. 

The giggling girl did not avoid his relatively direct query at the moment.

She was not in a mood to maintain her usual silence. This was quite clear from her facial expression. 

Formal as she appeared to be for something a little more important to answer with her girlish speed. 

They were drawing just as much if not more attention from the other persons sitting at the restaurant with their perfect style. 

During the same time, both the boy and the girl kept continuing their talks squarely this time with an audacious insight only ultra-confident persons can supposedly bring.

Therefore, she was ready with a bit more comfortable style. She made her point by saying that people used to change with time, but you have not changed.

Surprised to hear the boy with all his grit & concentration of his mind proceeded to ably question, How was that exactly?

With a little pause, the poised girl replied: When I met you, you were unemployed and even today you are not employed.

Was she aiming at the situation prevailing at the present conditions? There were not enough chances for the jobs these days, as the situations hint.
