Pricey vegetables bring tough time

We agree that the most recent difficult time for the common people was brought on by more expensive vegetables, which made them reflect on what our beloved everyday precious life now entails. The surprising circumstance has become a difficult period to endure. Due to several circumstances, vegetable prices are currently high in several places, including Kanpur.  Various common vegetables are now less available and more expensive because of supply chain disruptions, particularly those caused by the rainy climate. Media do not fail to report that rising vegetable prices are practically putting pressure on household finances, particularly for those with lower incomes. Prices for vegetables vary based on terrain and local market conditions, even though they are often pricey. Routes get new look


It has been a busy day for Civic bodies to clean the routes trodden by the VVIP on the chosen routes in the Kanpur city. 

Denizens were looking perplexed by the sudden transformation of the chosen roads. 

Various department officials concerned promoted the fresh fragrance to the so far neglected space.  

The people reacted reportedly that pending works were corrected within a short span of two or three days. 

The road's narrower position evaporated following the cleaning drive towards the removal of the encroachments.

There was a network of cables along the roads which were not visible. 

Encroachment was removed between COD bridge and Taat mill intersection along GT Road and cleaning was also done.

Water cannons kept spraying the road throughout the day. 

Along with the market, Kalpi Road, and GT Road were seen shining with milky lights and tricolour fringes.

The Municipal Corporation also carried out cleaning from outside the airport to HAL, Ramadevi via GT Road, Gumti intersection and from there via Gumti No. 5 market, via Darshan Purwa in Kalpi Road till Jarib Chowki intersection. 

While repairing the street lights on the poles of this route, tricolour fringes were applied. Garbage lying around the road between the PAC turn and the COD drain. 

Cutters were used to cover the dirt, and green curtains were placed outside the wooden stalls on GT Road. 

Enough dustbins were cleaned and pots were placed in front of the Dwarikapuri slope.

KESCO has changed the entire system within three days. The web of wires under the route has been removed. Wholly a new AB cable of about two and a half km length has been stretched out. 

To prevent hanging, new poles have been installed. A protection kit has also been installed under the wires for a distance of about one km. 

To ensure that 150 electric poles do not have earthing, plastic sheets have been wrapped around the poles.
