A particular village in Kanpur Nagar district has acquired an unfortunate position of an outbreak of flies that are spreading through the village areas. Thus this brings some kind of substantially unfair unease for the rural people during these very summer days.
Reportedly, Majra Madan Ka Purwa village of Vir Singh Pur Gram Panchayat of Bhitargaon Development Block under Narwal Tehsil in Kanpur Nagar district has come into the news because of fly menace.
The troublesome villagers have termed the village Makkhi Pur. Some level of fly infestation is inevitable on poultry farms.
However, fly numbers in pest proportions usually indicate a failure in one or several key areas of farm management.
Villagers say they have never seen such big numbers in hot May and the flies are openly impacting their lives. The big numbers are absolutely shocking.
Poultry farms in the village have been causing flies, according to the villagers who look so tense that they remain unable to even take their daily meals.
They will be forced to migrate If there is no proper action taken sooner. It is relatively a serious matter.
Troubled by the terror of flies at the extreme level, the villagers have yet not find any proper method or solution to get rid of flies.
Be it food items or drinking water, there are flies everywhere. People are not able to even rest in open spaces. What a poor condition!
They reportedly complain of vomiting and diarrhoea more often. This factor concerns them to a larger degree. It can not be wholly rejected all the more, as reports go.
Meanwhile, the village head has hinted at the difficulty in holding a traditional social meal programme in the precincts of the village.
It has also been reported that villagers fear if the menace of flies lingers, there will be a possible check on marriages in this infested village. Therefore, it should be avoided, say the villagers.
