Long power cut around Jajmau

Recently, Jajmau residents faced a long power cut. It was quite intolerable. Some residents were reportedly sheltered at their relatives' residences in nearby localities. It was definitely a harrowing experience, undoubtedly. People, anyhow, tolerated the worst situation. Such a long-duration power failure in the main localities of the Jajmau area left hapless residents, old ladies, young mothers, and others leaving their homes for relatives' homes, where power supply continued without any disruption.  A totally different scene erupted over a little longer power disruption in Jajmau. There was no clear-cut information about the restoration of the power supply. The residents honestly endured the unsatisfactory situation with the support of an inverter up to 07 a.m.  Certain families moved to their relatives' places to beat the heat.  Even the political leaders kept on asking for the exact timing of the restoration of the normal electricity supply. Was protocol defied?

There remains nothing untouched from the realm of politics. Standing and sitting also make an important news item.

What rival political parties pointedly crave for criticising comes in handy about BJP with propping up of a recent news item.

If the defined protocol does not restrict him to ably maintaining his sitting posture, why does flay PM Modi for not standing before President Draupadi Murmu?  She remains the constitutional head of our great country?

Experts, however, have pointed out that PM Modi was just following the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s protocol.

While going through a Tweet on X, it aptly becomes clear that Rashtrapati Bhavan protocol has the President and recipient both standing, while other guests — including the Vice-President and Prime Minister — are seated.

Reportedly the honouring event of the old man of politics LK Advani took place in his house, and the usual protocol was followed in an obvious way. This was flayed by other politicians.

When the President was conferring Bharat Ratna to Advaniji, Modiji was sitting next to Advaniji but did not even stand in honour of the President, RJD's Tejashwi Yadav alleged.

Even Congress general secretary and chief spokesman Jairam Ramesh said the action was the gravest disrespect to the President. “The Prime Minister certainly should have been standing,” he said.

Their respective attempts to criticise do revive anxiety. They can not be dissuaded from the grudges and inflammatory rhetoric at least on the party lines.

Their purpose for flaying Modi's challenges is to endorse the primary reason for disrespect.

It reveals a campaign with a little more interest in castigating political rivals.

However, the protocol makes a clear way for Modi to nudge them to at least try to tone it down.

The award-giving event was not conducted in the spacious grand hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, but the usual protocol was strictly followed.
