Annual Eid celebrations

Clearly, the main activity of the annual Eid celebration remains attending a relative's residence. On this particular occasion, relatives make sure to see each other at home.  They are amused by a wide variety of dishes. The sweet flavour of the most significant meal, sewai , seems to be blending with joy and celebration. Even so, traditional recipes are significantly altered for the celebration.  During a visit to a relative's home, it became more apparent that not only did the dishes on the table resemble those of a five-star hotel, but also...  The golden-coloured cutlery placed on the table created the illusion of an upscale hotel. Each item placed on the table served as a reminder of the refined and opulent way of life.

Eidi: Gifting Cash


Eidi exists as a tradition of gifting cash to children and family members by older or senior relatives or family friends as part of the coming celebrations of the Eid al-Fitr. 

We try to arrange new currency notes from the banks as banks issue new currency notes on festivals for their customers. 

It is always not necessary to avail the new currency notes from the nearby banks. 

When one visited the bank for withdrawal of the new currency notes, the cashier at the enclosed counter refused to entertain the account holder.

Without any sort of hitch, he told the man to come the next day in the forenoon. The reason behind this negation was that the wads were no longer available.

It appeared as if the new currency notes duly attained wholly a fresh value during the big and important festivals in our country.

The customer returned with a heavy heart as he failed to withdraw new currency notes. He even said that such was not the case in the previous year. So the customer felt quite a bit sad. 

He started thinking about whether he would get new wads tomorrow or not.

Though he completed the bank's distance in the severe heat of the day. This made him a bit more depressed at that time.

However, the customer's hopes were not dashed as he received the currency notes of Rs one hundred denomination after several visits. He was expecting to get Rs 50 notes but there was no distribution of lower denomination.
