With the rapid rise in retail prices, hapless customers are compelled to buy eggs via online delivery.  This remains a practical fact at this crucial time. This is comparatively cheaper than the retail price charged by nearby small shops. When one sturdy person was discussing this significant matter with another consumer, the aged shopkeeper became irate and began saying, Why don't you go to the egg stockists who sell the item much cheaper than the online system?  Actually, he responded in his intense anger. After all, how would he bear to lose his regular customers if such options are going to be talked about before him?  Such suggestions to the customer undeniably affect his retail sales. UCC & Javed Akhtar

Noted lyricist Javed Akhtar reacting upon the UCC, said, it should not merely be for criticizing the Muslims. The rule does not seem wrong to him as he follows it. It should be amply discussed and there should not be laxity in implementing the norms equally, he pointed out.

However, if someone wants to bring a Uniform Civil Code just because Muslims can not practice polygamy, then it is wrong in his standard view instantly.

He laughingly said people are jealous that Muslims have the rightful permission to have four wives. But practically it is not being followed by them.

Reportedly, the UCC brings a common law for marriage, divorce, inheritance of property, etc. All these were earlier governed by personal laws of every religion. 

The common code bars bigamy (marrying one person while still legally married to another) and polygamy (having multiple spouses simultaneously).
