Annual Eid celebrations

Clearly, the main activity of the annual Eid celebration remains attending a relative's residence. On this particular occasion, relatives make sure to see each other at home.  They are amused by a wide variety of dishes. The sweet flavour of the most significant meal, sewai , seems to be blending with joy and celebration. Even so, traditional recipes are significantly altered for the celebration.  During a visit to a relative's home, it became more apparent that not only did the dishes on the table resemble those of a five-star hotel, but also...  The golden-coloured cutlery placed on the table created the illusion of an upscale hotel. Each item placed on the table served as a reminder of the refined and opulent way of life.

Heavy potatoe

As Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad district is widely famous for yielding potatoes, a field in this district's Pataunja village has given one potato weighing 2 kgs and 1 00 grams.

The farmer was very much surprised and he decided to possess that significant potato. Surprisingly, the potato growers of the Farrukhabad-Kannauj belt have been getting the potato produce uniquely.

He said that it was really the first time such a unique and heavy potato had been grown in the particular field. Not only the field owner but entire villagers are showing their happiness with this sort of produce.

On asking a very important query, the field owner made it relatively clear that the very special potato belonged to the Khyati variety.  The potato growers are well aware of this unique variety.

The potato farmers are reportedly quite glad at this special variety.

The farmer has interestingly expressed that he would not sell the big-sized potatoes.

While digging up the field he is said to have found some potatoes weighing half a kg and even more of 700 gms.

He accepted that he was not so sure of such a produce from his village field. The potatoes heavier in weight surprised all the faces who learnt of it instantly.
