While the marriage party stands very much behind us, attending the occasion like the important guests remains as the wintry days play nervousness on the schedule.
The grand lunch was arranged on a large area of land. Stalls were adequate and the guests were finding themselves in an impromptu temper of eating, walking & talking as well as ably sitting on the soft sofas as required.
There was everything on the meticulously organized stalls. The guests were not wary of choosing what should they take up first and what should they avoid first. Because of the buffet system, there was no marked tension of availability.
Though sofas were finely kept on spots for the comfort and of course guests' convenience.
One elder person emerged quite a bit more choosy. He preferred soup for his old age. As the bowl contained enough juice it took him adequate time to finish.
After ending the energy-boosting juice, he was desiring for prawns. Soon he found the item to gulp down sumptuously given the strengthening of his powerless physical soundness.
Another not-so-young man grabbed every kind of fruit and then acquiesced to wait for more time to begin his lunch. He felt at ease in uttering that he would wait for more than twenty minutes to go for another turn. His apparent logic behind the delay was that his hunger would add up thus. Upon hardly someone's insistence, he picked up salty papad to change his tongue taste. This was part of his very habit and wit.
Still, another person decided to taste every item. He first ate tandoori roti and finely cooked mutton. Roti is one of the favourite foods and a firm staple on the feast index of myriad items.
One remains nice with it, however, its softness makes it incredibly delicate to help gulp down with the mutton pieces. Afterwards, he attempted tasting the madrasi but it remained too sour so he avoided it. Moving up to the veg corner he took paneer and pulao to relish.
He did not forget to taste ice cream and coffee. The sweets like small rasgulla were too tasty to devour. Not the kind of items they relished but also rather a seen kebab for his super taste.
The unique part of the occasion was the UI man weighing more than one hundred kg holding a round plate filled with various distinct items devouring in a stand-up position. It appeared as if he had been asked to remain in a standing posture as he ended up with all the items in that particular pose.
The worst part of the guests' ordeal for lunch was the rain and it prompted them to return. The dark clouds were drizzling sending a terrifying missive. To remain safe from rain, forgetting the correct route the rarely-visiting guests to that distant location turned toward the famous Ghat along the Ganga River.
Nonetheless, the turn was a bit sooner corrected and they came to their exact respective destinations without being wet.
